- Registrations, not verified operations
- A filing means a business registered, not that it opened doors or hired. Net formation accounts for dissolutions, but a registration is still a registration.
- County by ZIP enrichment
- We place entities in counties using their address, enriched from ZIP. A handful with bad or missing addresses may be off.
- Straight from the state
- We aggregate and date the public filings. We never add numbers the records do not support.
