About these numbers
Counts come from Florida Division of Corporations filings as republished in the sneyk dataset, current through June 30, 2026. Entity counts are distinct corporations rather than filing rows, because the state's daily files overlap and repeat some records. County assignment uses the ZIP code on the filing's principal address, which is available for about 99.5% of records.
Formation figures stop at June 30 on purpose. Florida publishes new filings on a lag, and a recent week typically shows only about a third of what it will eventually hold, reaching roughly 99% after two weeks. Any count of the last few days understates reality, so recent windows are left out rather than reported early.
